Layla & Teachers Problems Article!
Hello! At school, do you have a teacher who does not give you a
moment's peace? Just follow this guide! First of all, however, you must
be as objective as possible. Has your teacher really singled you out, or
is it just your impression? Most of the time it's because of how you're
acting! You might not believe it, but maybe it's because you really
want the teacher's attention!
The demanding teacher
He knows that you can do
better, and punishes you because you don't put your nose to the
grindstone. This teacher isn't interested in what you can do, only how
hard you try! Try to tell the teacher that a higher grade will motivate
you to do more. Maybe the teacher will see that you're interested and
give you at least half a letter grade!
The uncompromising teacher
Just
dodge one question or miss a day of class and your grade will suffer!
The teacher feels the need to be recognized by his or her students.
That's why these things make the teacher agitated: the teacher feels
like you don't have any respect. A defense mechanism leads the teacher
to be harsh in order to establish his authority. If you are not prepared
for class, don't make excuses or tell lies, just tell the truth. At
least your teacher won't think you're up to no good.
The bad grade teacher
Kindly ask your teacher to
explain the basis on which he or she assigns grades. For example, how
much do you lose for each mistake? And when writing essays, is the
meaning more important than spelling and grammar? This way, you'll know
what you have to do to get a better grade, and the teacher will know
you're paying attention to his marks.
The teacher who always calls on you
Is this a
pop quiz? Is the teacher calling on you a thousand times just to give
you an opportunity to show what you've learned, or is the teacher only
giving you the chance to make a mistake that will hurt your grade? Ask
the teacher exactly how class participation figures into your grades.
How are you graded on the questions you answer in class? If answering a
lot of little questions gets you a better grade in the class, that's a
good thing!
5 mistakes you can make when dealing with teachers
-Don't complain about one teacher to other teachers -- you just look like a gossip girl!
-Don't
involve your parents over every little thing. Show your teachers you're
mature enough to face your school problems by yourself.
-Don't compare yourself to you classmates, you'll look like someone with a big ego.
-Don't call in absent when there's a test or quiz. Your teachers will think you don't take them seriously.
-Don't give up after you get a bad grade. You're teachers will think you're lazy!

Layla Vs Roxy?Hope not!
Well yeah one post on Una Di Noi really made me thinking.And its about Layla and Roxy.Well i were searching some other feacts posted on Una Di Noi and when u see them all its kinda confusing!Well first now you can see here on screenshoots which are also from Una Di Noi that Roxy plays drums,but why?Why did they made Roxy play drums when thats Laylas job.Its pic from this game:
See Roxy is playing drums...
Then also an iteresting thing i didnt know cause they haven translated on my langauge on tv like that that when Layla decide to be with evil guys she see Winx with Roxy and tell them "I see you already found me replacment" hmm wow that wasnt good i think.
And now woah yeah,remember this pic that i already have posted where you can see well almost full believix group pic with Roxy but no Layla,so thats another thing,im posting it here agian down,but it really isnt good that you can find this pic on an actual OFFICIAL site of Winx.
But well then someone says that Roxy and Layla could acutally be BF's but its kinda not very logical seeing all this informations although on this pic they looks nice and close together
But,hm also they share another thing that is in common and its a green color.They both have green colors of outfits causal and transform so in seaosn 4 Layla gets some kind of blue-green color which i call deap ocean color xD Another thing why maybe she will be replaced!?Anyway they make Layla close to Flora when she helps Flora get Helios attention,but i always thought that Musa was her BF and they became much close when Musa tell Layla about her mom and all that.Layla wasnt really close to Tecna much until Tecna deciaded to gave her life for Andors which happens to be Laylas home,so then they became closer.For Stella well Stella and Layla i think always had some issues i dont know why they were sometimes fighting in season 4 too,but then they talk and they becaming closer and closer ^-^ About Bloom i dont hink i should say anything cause every Winx is good with her :D And the last think i that maybe why they will actually replace Layla with Roxy wich wont be good for her fans is that Nabu dies and we saw she kinda orbed him to Anodros so maybe she will in season 5 go to Andors and try to save Nabu,but if she do that even she can't for sure try t i save him all season she will be then i think in some episodes when Winx will really need her help or something like that.Well those are some fact,but we all hope that Layla wont be replaced! ^-^

6) If you want healthy, split-free hair, be sure to book in for regular trims. Fine hair should be cut every six weeks, whilst thick hair needs a trim every eight. Leave it any longer and those split ends could move up the hair shaft, which means the difference between a trim and losing a couple of inches. It’s your call.

The name "Contemporary Dance" describes a range of techniques and styles used in classes, workshops and dance choreography. Contemporary dance was developed in the early 20th century as a reaction against the rigid techniques of ballet. Pioneers such as Isadora Duncan and Martha Graham searched for ease of movement using the body's natural lines and energy, allowing a greater range and fluidity of movement than conventional dance techniques.Contemporary dance is characterised by its versatility: contemporary can be danced to almost any style of music, or united with other dance forms to create new styles of movement. Contemporary seeks to work with the natural alignment of the body, and is therefore safe and accessible for beginners. At the same time, the ease of movement promoted by contemporary dance technique allows experienced dancers to push new boundaries of body movement.
The four main techniques used in contemporary dance are:
· Cunningham (named after teacher and choreographer Merce Cunningham, focusing on the architecture of the body in space, rhythm and articulation.)
What does that mean? Cunningham uses the idea of the body's own "line of energy" to promote easy, natural movement. Richard Alston uses Cunningham technique in his graceful choreography.
· Graham (named after Martha Graham) - focusing on the use of contraction, release, fall and recovery.
What does that mean? Graham technique is characterised by floorwork and the use of abdominal and pelvic contractions. The style is very grounded and the technique visibly contrary to the sylphlike, airborne ideals of ballet.
· Limon (named after Jose Limon) - exploring use of energy in relation to gravity and working with weight in terms of fall, rebound, recovery and suspension.
What does that mean? Limon technique uses the feeling of weight and "heavy energy" in the body, and movement is instigated using breath to lift, and swings through the body to create and halt movement. It also feels very nice to perform!
· Release - placing emphasis on minimising tension in the search for clarity and fluidity and efficient use of energy and breath.
What does that mean? A bit like it sounds - in Release technique, we release through the joints and muscles to create ease of movement, releasing the breath to aid the release of the body. A great relaxation technique as well as a dance style.
Improvisation
Improvisation focuses on the investigation of movement and its relation to performance. Development of individual movement material is facilitated through a variety of creative explorations.
Contact Improvisation
Contact improvisation describes a duet dance form characterised by weight exchange, fluid movement and touch. Partners improvise using the natural movement of the body.
Choreography
Choreography workshops are designed to encourage personal investigation into ideas suitable for choreography.
