Tips for being a great pet owner! [samo na englleskom]

Our pets are amazing additions to our lives and they enrich us in so many important ways! Pet caring hobby provides a rich experience to learn so many things and values in ones life. The benefits you got through pet keeping are countless and the following points give us a brief idea of what we derive out of this great hobby.
-Pet caring will help you to learn about the attitude of responsibility.
-It helps you to learn how to take care about others.

-It will help you to learn an attitude of patience.
-Pet caring will help you to learn about the various aspects of animals like theirnature, diet habits, their behavioral aspects etc.,
So how can we repay our pets given that they give us so much? Surely there is more that we can do than just feed them.-Using metal water dishes outside in winter may be a risk, because your pet's tongue could stick to the frozen metal. In the summer medal bowls can get very hot, and burn your dog. Water should be changed at least twice daily in the supplying container.
-Scheduled mealtimes are usually regarded as better for your puppy than free feeding where the dogfood bowl is always filled with food. The advantages of scheduled feeding include the fact that pets that eat at scheduled times tend to be less obese than free-fed pets. Your puppy should also see that YOU, the pet owner, are the food giver. This will help your puppy see you as the leader of the house or the ‘alpha dog’ which can help with behaviour problems.
-Do not make your dog walk on extremely hot or cold asphalt, cement, etc... the pads of their pawsare not made out of steel! If it is too hot for you to walk barefoot, then chances are that it is too hot for your dog, also.
-Rub him behind his ears. If he is into this, he will lean his head into your hand and pretty much guide you to where he wants to be patted and scratched.
-Not all pets are good choices for all people. Some pets need more space, more exercise, more interaction, have more health problems, have exotic diets etc. Buy a book or do some research online BEFORE you get a pet so that you know what to expect.
-Most pets need human attention. When we take them home, we become their surrogate families and they depend on us for attention and interaction.
-Adventure! Mostly for dogs, this means getting your dog used to the outside world and different people, objects, riding in cars, meeting other dogs etc. This is best done at a young age so that your pet is less fearful of new experiences!

Layla & Teachers Problems Article!

Hello! At school, do you have a teacher who does not give you a moment's peace? Just follow this guide! First of all, however, you must be as objective as possible. Has your teacher really singled you out, or is it just your impression? Most of the time it's because of how you're acting! You might not believe it, but maybe it's because you really want the teacher's attention!
The demanding teacher
He knows that you can do better, and punishes you because you don't put your nose to the grindstone. This teacher isn't interested in what you can do, only how hard you try! Try to tell the teacher that a higher grade will motivate you to do more. Maybe the teacher will see that you're interested and give you at least half a letter grade!

The uncompromising teacher
Just dodge one question or miss a day of class and your grade will suffer! The teacher feels the need to be recognized by his or her students. That's why these things make the teacher agitated: the teacher feels like you don't have any respect. A defense mechanism leads the teacher to be harsh in order to establish his authority. If you are not prepared for class, don't make excuses or tell lies, just tell the truth. At least your teacher won't think you're up to no good.
The bad grade teacher
Kindly ask your teacher to explain the basis on which he or she assigns grades. For example, how much do you lose for each mistake? And when writing essays, is the meaning more important than spelling and grammar? This way, you'll know what you have to do to get a better grade, and the teacher will know you're paying attention to his marks.
The teacher who always calls on you
Is this a pop quiz? Is the teacher calling on you a thousand times just to give you an opportunity to show what you've learned, or is the teacher only giving you the chance to make a mistake that will hurt your grade? Ask the teacher exactly how class participation figures into your grades. How are you graded on the questions you answer in class? If answering a lot of little questions gets you a better grade in the class, that's a good thing!
5 mistakes you can make when dealing with teachers
-Don't complain about one teacher to other teachers -- you just look like a gossip girl!
-Don't involve your parents over every little thing. Show your teachers you're mature enough to face your school problems by yourself.
-Don't compare yourself to you classmates, you'll look like someone with a big ego.
-Don't call in absent when there's a test or quiz. Your teachers will think you don't take them seriously.
-Don't give up after you get a bad grade. You're teachers will think you're lazy!

6 Hair rules! + Moving bodies + Nabu New Wallpaper

1) Wash hair every 3 days - daily washing steals the natural oils from the hair cuticle and can leave your tresses weak, limp and difficult to work with.

2) The healthier your diet the thicker, shinier and healthier your hair. And do drink lots of water also to banish dryness and promote natural sheen.
3) Finish with a cool-to-cold rinse to help seal the hair cuticle and convey natural shine, and always towel dry hair before conditioning otherwise you could be diluting the conditioner by up to 70%.

4) Blow-drying, styling, straightening – who knows where our style would be without our favourite tools? But much as we love them, the heat generated from these much-used appliances can penetrate the cuticle and leave hair dry, damaged and dull. Praise be to the heat-protection product!

5) Nourish, nourish, NOURISH! We just can’t stress it enough. Treat your tresses to a deep conditioning mask once a week – and throw the rule book out the window! Many masks will tell you to leave the product on for around 10-15 minutes, but anything under 30 minutes is usually pointless. And once you’re fully coated in your conditioning mask, wrap your hair tightly in cling-film to seal in the heat; this will activate the mask’s healing properties.

6) If you want healthy, split-free hair, be sure to book in for regular trims. Fine hair should be cut every six weeks, whilst thick hair needs a trim every eight. Leave it any longer and those split ends could move up the hair shaft, which means the difference between a trim and losing a couple of inches. It’s your call.

The name "Contemporary Dance" describes a range of techniques and styles used in classes, workshops and dance choreography. Contemporary dance was developed in the early 20th century as a reaction against the rigid techniques of ballet. Pioneers such as Isadora Duncan and Martha Graham searched for ease of movement using the body's natural lines and energy, allowing a greater range and fluidity of movement than conventional dance techniques.
Contemporary dance is characterised by its versatility: contemporary can be danced to almost any style of music, or united with other dance forms to create new styles of movement. Contemporary seeks to work with the natural alignment of the body, and is therefore safe and accessible for beginners. At the same time, the ease of movement promoted by contemporary dance technique allows experienced dancers to push new boundaries of body movement.

The four main techniques used in contemporary dance are:
· Cunningham (named after teacher and choreographer Merce Cunningham, focusing on the architecture of the body in space, rhythm and articulation.)
What does that mean? Cunningham uses the idea of the body's own "line of energy" to promote easy, natural movement. Richard Alston uses Cunningham technique in his graceful choreography.
· Graham (named after Martha Graham) - focusing on the use of contraction, release, fall and recovery.
What does that mean? Graham technique is characterised by floorwork and the use of abdominal and pelvic contractions. The style is very grounded and the technique visibly contrary to the sylphlike, airborne ideals of ballet.
· Limon (named after Jose Limon) - exploring use of energy in relation to gravity and working with weight in terms of fall, rebound, recovery and suspension.
What does that mean? Limon technique uses the feeling of weight and "heavy energy" in the body, and movement is instigated using breath to lift, and swings through the body to create and halt movement. It also feels very nice to perform!
· Release - placing emphasis on minimising tension in the search for clarity and fluidity and efficient use of energy and breath.
What does that mean? A bit like it sounds - in Release technique, we release through the joints and muscles to create ease of movement, releasing the breath to aid the release of the body. A great relaxation technique as well as a dance style.
Improvisation
Improvisation focuses on the investigation of movement and its relation to performance. Development of individual movement material is facilitated through a variety of creative explorations.
Contact Improvisation
Contact improvisation describes a duet dance form characterised by weight exchange, fluid movement and touch. Partners improvise using the natural movement of the body.
Choreography
Choreography workshops are designed to encourage personal investigation into ideas suitable for choreography.

Homemade Candles!Plus Tecna new School Pic!

Hi girls and boys!
Always running off to the mall to stock up on more candles? Can't get enough of that candle ambiance for your slumber parties? Or maybe you're just looking for a cool, unique gift to give to your buds? Well, I'm here to help you!
Candle Making Supplies:
Sheets of beeswax (approximately 16 x 8 inches)
Wick
Hair dryer
Cookie cutters

How to Make Rolled Candles:
1. If the beeswax you are working with is rolled, gently unroll it. If it's stiff, or cracks while unrolling, soften it by warming it with the hair dryer set on low.
2. Lay a piece of wick along one of the short edges of the beeswax sheet and roll it up. And voila! You have yourself a nice straight thick candle.
How to Make Tapered or Striped Candles:
1. Lay a piece of wick along a short edge and firmly fold the wax over it. Now squeeze it together. The wax is slightly sticky, so this is easier than it sounds. Begin rolling the candle, making sure that it is tightly rolled and as even as you can make it.
2. When you have finished rolling all the wax, run the hair dryer over it to mold the edges together just a bit, and soften the bottom so that you can give it a nice flat smooth surface.
3. Because you cut your beeswax sheet in half, you will end up with a pair of matched candles. And if you want you can lay different colored beeswax sheets, one on top of the other, before you start rolling. This will give you a funky layered, striped candle set.
How to Make Flat Candles:
1. Begin by unrolling a sheet of beeswax. Choose a cool shaped cookie cutter (like fish, stars or flowers) and cut out an even number of shapes from your sheet of wax. 12 to 16 pieces should be good.
2. Divide your pile of shapes in half. One at a time, put one piece on top of another and squish them together. Just make sure that they are firmly stuck together.
3. When you have squished half of your shapes together, lay your wick on top of the shapes and continue to squish the rest of the wax pieces onto your candle, trapping the wick between the two thick layers of wax pieces.
4. Occasionally heat it with the hair dryer, this will help the wax stick together.
5. When you're done, trim the wick and set your candle upright. Don't be shy about making your candles. Mix the colors of wax you use and try lots of different cookie cutter shapes. These make great gifts for friends and even better additions to your own bedroom!
That's all! Now it's up to you! Make your candles with your friends!

Skin care!

Here are basic skin care secrets everyone should know!!Apple Mask(For Normal Skin)
Needed Things:
An apple (cored and quartered)
2 tsp honey
Method: Take a blender or a food processor and chop the pieces of apple in it. Mix the honey and put it in refrigerator for at least 10 minutes. Apply the mixture to your face with the tapping motion. Tap the area until the honey feels tacky. Leave it for 30 minutes and rinse it off with cool water.
Banana Mask:

Needed Things:
1 ripe banana
1 tbsp. all natural honey
4 tbsp ground oats
Mineral water
1 cucumber

Method:Mash the ripe banana until it has a smooth texture. Skin has a natural protective layer of fats that are meant to keep the skin moisturized while protecting it from the elements. Add the natural honey. It is known to reduce inflammation and swelling in wounds and can kill germs. Stir in the ground oats and enough water that the face mask has a creamy consistency. The oatmeal in the face mask helps exfoliate the skin, removing dirt. Peel and slice two pieces of cucumber. Cucumber has natural nourishing, hydrating and astringent properties . Wash your face with warm water and pat dry.Apply the banana face mask evenly to your face and neck and place the cucumber slices over your eyes. Relax for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing the mask off with warm water.

Strawberry Mask:

Needed Things:
2 large and very ripe strawberries
2 tablespoon
1 drop lemon essential oil
Method: Rinse the strawberries and pat away excess water. Set one strawberry side. Using a small food processor, process the other strawberry until it is completely pulverized. Add the oats and process further until the mixture is smooth. If it seems too watery (because you had an especially juicy strawberry!), add oats a little at a time, processing after each, until a smooth paste forms. You will see visible pieces of strawberry seeds which will aid in the skin treatment process. The mixture should be paste-like but spreadable. Transfer to a small bowl and add the essential oil. Stir to combine.Spread Strawberry Face Mask in a thick layer onto face and neck area (avoiding eyes and lips) with fingertips or a cosmetic brush. Rest for 15-20 minutes, while you eat the other juicy strawberry! Rinse off with cool water. Follow with toner. Add moisturizer if desired, using a bit less if your skin is oily, or more if your skin is dry.

Spring Fashion!

Spring is here, which means it’s time to bury the sequined tops, skirts and dresses, and update your closets with what’s in this season.
There's no easier way to get the wow factor than with a maxi dress. Wear at the beach or the park with and gladiator flats.
The Seventies are back:  high-waisted denim and flouncy silk dresses and blouses are super!

Ankle boots! They're not easy to wear. The proportion of an ankle boot with a mid-calf, full skirt is all wrong: ankle boots look best as part of a leggy look, either with short skirt, skinny jeans or leggings. One of the easiest ways to wear ankle boots is to pair black shoes with black tights (and a black dress if you really want to go monochromatic.) Wearing ankle boots with socks is a practical idea (much less slippery than wearing with hose, less sweaty than wearing barefoot), but a peek of sock under a pair of slouchy casual ankle boots is cute.
Dark Denim Dress: Wear it bare-legged with wedges or paired with leggings on cooler days.

Plaid Shirt: a borrowed-from-the-boys look we love for this spring!
Hat trend! hats can be made of straw or of materials other than straw (cloth boaters with a flower pattern), and many of the hats have more decorations than just a simple ribbon (for example, ribbons with flowers or bows attached to them).
White VS Yellow: Yellow will be most popular color during the springtime among the favorite colors of 2010. Even though white is the most prefered color for the springtime, yellow will often be seen everywhere. Mimosa (the orange juice and champagne yellow) was named as the color of the year! You might not prefer to wear a bright yellow color though. In this case, I advise you to look for more subtle shades such as chartreuse or mustard.

How sensitive are you?

Hi!
Here it is a little quiz to know yourself better! Answer 'Yes' or 'No' for each question! Concentrate…

Do you often feel the pain of others?
Is your mood highly dependent on the moods of people around you?
Does 'reading-between-the-lines' come easily to you?
Are you very sensitive to noises around you?
Are you easily scared or startled?
Are you an animal lover?
Do you have hermit qualities, preferring solitude over parties?
Is care giving a natural response you give to anyone hurting?
Are you easily moved by an amazing song, film, or piece of art?
Do you consider yourself to be in harmony with nature: earth, water, skies?
Are you a good listener, compassionate to the needs of others?
Do you have an artistic bent or creative nature?

Now, count the number of times you answered “Yes”:
Yes: 0- 3 out of 12
So you're not exactly the most sensitive soul on the planet. You can get through pretty much any situation - and you expect others to as well!! You have a thick skin, and that makes you incredibly tough. In this way you’re far from pains, but also from passions…

Yes: 4- 7 out of 12
In general, you don't let your senses overwhelm you. You're pretty practical, and you're good at blocking out what's going on around you. However, you are still sensitive enough to enjoy all the beautiful things in the world!

Yes: 8- 11 out of 12
As far as sensitivity goes, you're a lot more in tune than most people. You can't help but be touched by what's around you - good and bad. But when things do get really bad around you, you are strong enough not to break down!

Yes: 12 out of 12
You’re very sensitive! You have wonderful imagination, you are creative, curious, a great organizer and problem solver. You are extremely conscientious but sometimes you care too much about what people think and you feel insecure. Tip: you’re special, this must be your strength!

Study Tips!

Start making some changes in your routine and improve your performance!

Take a look at this list of study tips and develop more effective and efficient study habits to help you improve your overall grades in school!

Write Down Every Assignment
The most logical place to write down your assignments is in a planner, but you might prefer to keep a to-do list in a simple notebook or in your cell phone note pad. It doesn't really matter what tool you use, but it is absolutely essential to your success to write down every single assignment, due date, test date, and task.

Organize With Color
Devise your own color-coding system to keep your assignments and your thoughts organized. You may select a single color for each class (like science or history) and use that color for your folder, your highlighters, your sticky notes, and your pens. You'll be surprised to discover how much strong organization skills can change your life!

Establish a Study Zone at Home
Take the time to assess your individual style and your real needs and plan for the perfect study place. After all, if you can’t concentrate, you certainly can’t expect to learn very well. Students are different. Some need a completely quiet room free from interruptions when they study, but others actually study better listening to quiet music in the background or taking several breaks. Find a place to study that fits your specific personality and learning style. Then stock your study space with school supplies that will help you avoid last-minute emergencies.

Time
Try to not spend more than one hour at a time on any one subject. Try not to spend more than 20 to 30 minutes on memorization. Short blocks of time are the best method for studying and retaining information.

Similar subjects... separate times!
Try to study similar subjects at separate times. It is important to separate study periods for similar subjects. This adds variety to specific study times and keeps your brain alert and active.!

Healthy Food!!
Eat some food to give you energy to study but avoid consuming excess sugar which will make you hyper and will make it more difficult to study.

Music!
Listening to relaxing music such as classical or jazz on a low volume can relieve some of the boredom of studying.

Prepare Yourself for Test Days
You know that it's important to study for test days, right? But there are other things you should consider in addition to the actual material that the test will cover. What if you show up for test day and the room is freezing cold? For many students, this would cause enough of a distraction to interrupt concentration. That leads to bad choices and bad answers. Plan ahead for heat or cold by layering your clothing.

Take Fabulous Notes
There are a few tricks to taking fabulous notes that really help when it comes to studying. If you’re visual person, you should make as many doodles on your paper as you can. Useful doodles, that is. As soon as you realize that once topic relates to another, comes before another, is the opposite of another, or has any kind of connection to another—draw a picture that makes sense to you. Sometimes the information will not sink in until and unless you see it in an image. There are also certain code words to look out for in a lecture that can indicate that your teacher is giving you the relevance or the context of an event. Learn to recognize key words and phrases that your teacher deems important.

Games, Tv...
When you put things off a lot, you end up putting things off until it's too late from time to time. It's that simple. When you procrastinate, you take the chance that nothing will go wrong at the last minute--but in the real world, things do go wrong. So how can you battle the urge to put things off? Start with trying to recognize that a feisty little voice that lives inside every one of us. It tells us it would be more fun to play a game, eat, or watch TV when we know better. Don’t fall for it!!

Beauty Tips!

A Natural Way To Exfoliate

Sea salt removes dry and flaky skin.

Wet face (or anywhere on the body), apply a couple of tablespoons of sea salt, then GENTLY massagewith a wet washcloth or fingers. Focus on the T-zone and cheeks, but avoid the eye area.

After one or two minutes, rinse with cold water to tighten the pores. It is important to do this regularly, or face-creams will not penetrate.

You can do this maximum once per week.

Dark Circles Under Eyes...

To lighten dark circles under your eyes, wrap a grated raw potato in cheesecloth and apply to eyelids for 15-20 minutes.

Wipe off the residue and apply an eye cream.

Face mask for oily skin

1. Mix a tbsp of honey with 1 egg white and apply thickly on the face and neck. Leave for 10 minutes and wash off.

2. Mix 2 tbsp of papaya pulp with 10 drops of lemon juice and leave it for 20 minutes and then rinse well.

3. Take fresh juice of any of the fruits (orange, sweet lime, watermelon or papaya) and apply on the face as a mask. This is very relaxing, it cleanses the skin, closes pores and stimulates blood circulation.

Honey Facial Mask

Perhaps the best facial mask is honey.

Place a cloth in warm water and apply to your face to open the pores. Smear on honey, and leave on for 15 to 30 minutes.
Rinse off with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores.
Use once a week.

White Nails

To whiten your nails, try these:

* Use a common whitening toothpaste. It's just as easy as achieving a pearly white smile and will take away any stains and shine up your nails.

* Soak your nails in water with lemon juice or lemon slices. The lemon acts as an astringent and will strip away stains. Once your hands are dry, you'll only need to put on a couple of coats of a clear topcoat!

Musicals!

To those who have never assist a whole show, they may appear nothing more than a bunch of people singing and dancing unnecessarily. What a pity. Because musicals offer some of the most adventurous, cinematic and imaginative spectacles!

The sound of musicals. Musicals are traditionally a form of theatre which combines miusic, songs, spoken dialogues and dance. The content of the performance usually narrates a story, and the emotions displayed in the narration are most often expressed through the words, the music and dance movements of the entertainers to provide a wholesome and rounded entertainment. Musicals are not limited to big theatres and stages. In the last few decades they have been adapted and distributed through various other mediums such as Cinema and Tv. Some famous musicals include Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, West Side Story, Les Misérables, Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, and of course, teh magical Winx Musical that's showing in Italy!

The story of musicals. The art of telling stories through songs dates back to either ancient India oe ancient Greek, at least 5th century BC, when ancient people used music to either narrate or accompany their stories, and often comedies. By the 1700s, two very popular forms of musical theatres are found in France, Britain and Germany; teh first being ballad operas which narrate romantic stories and other is comedies.

Save Energy!

Save Energy!

Saving energy helps reduce air pollution! Here they are some tips...

Turn off the lights when you leave a room.
Replace energy hungry incandescent lights with fluorescent lighting.
Use a thermostat that automatically turns off the air conditioner or heater when you don't need them.
Use a fan instead of air conditioning.
Heat small meals in a microwave oven.
Use low flow showerheads.
Dry your clothes on a clothesline.

Waste Not!

Choose recycled products.
Choose products with recyclable packaging.
Reuse paper bags.
Recycle paper, plastics, and metals.
Print and photocopy on both sides of the paper
In the Kitchen: According to researchers a load of dishes cleaned in a dishwasher uses 37 percent less water than washing dishes by hand! However, if you fill up one side of the sink with soapy water and the other side with rinse water - and if you don't let the faucet run - you'll use half as much water as a dishwasher does. Doing the dishes this way can save enough water for a five-minute shower!
Don't keep the refrigerator door open any longer than you need to. Close it to keep the cold air inside! Also, make sure the door closes securely.

Batteries that are thrown away produce most of the heavy metals - dangerous substances like lead, arsenic, zinc, cadmium, copper, and mercury - that are found in household trash. These metals are toxic. They can be harmful to humans and wildlife. When discarded batteries from our trash wind up in landfills, these dangerous metals can seep into the ground water and eventually into the food chain. So, instead of throwing batteries in the trash, we should all take them to a toxic waste disposal area, if at all possible.See you soon with other tips!

Tips from nature!

If you know the characteristics and properties of plants and flowers, you can find some good friends for your beauty...

Wear a flower in Your Hair!

It takes a confident girl to wear a flower in her hair. The look is dramatic and attracts attention. With all the ladylike fashion in trend, catch the last of summer goodness by putting a flower in your hair and experimenting with a new look!
You can use an artificial flower, but nothing beats the real thing! If you are using a single bud or blossom, tuck it neatly behind one ear and then the other to compare which looks better. You can also pin the flower to your ponytail holder with a small clip. A word of caution: never put flowers behind both your ears, or someone may start questioning your sanity!

Natural Beauty Facial

For a relaxing and refreshing facial, pour some boiling water over dried chamomile flowers (you can get them from most supermarkets) in a bowl. Inhale slowly and deeply while holding your face a few inches above the water. Rinse your hair with the left over liquid. Apart from benefits to your skin, this treatment also has various health benefits for the nose, throat and lungs. Not only that, chamomile has a relaxing effect on people and is especially helpful in curing colds and bronchial infections.

The Cucumber

Cucumbers have been cultivated in India for over 3000 years. Cucumbers are a member of the gourd family together with melons, squash and pumpkins. There are about 20 known species of cucumbers, divided into three classes, table or slicing, pickling and greenhouse.
When you say someone is ‘cool as a cucumber’, it essentially means that the person is feeling rather relaxed. Well, actual tests performed on a cucumber in the field on a hot day revealed that the cucumber pulp temperature is 20 degrees cooler than the outside air. Wow, no wonder it is possible for a cucumber to stay so relaxed! Cucumbers are not only cooling and good for sore throats, but they are also high in vitamins. So start eating some today!

Saint Valentine's Day!

Love, love, love... you surely have experienced that terrible condition when you find yourself sighing for a boy who doesn't even notice you...First of all I'll give you advice: in gaining love, charisma has a very important role. Observe your own behaviour! Be aware of your own nervousness. Try to feel it as a wall between yourself and the person you wish to attract.Worry will always work against you. Say to yourself that you are going to enjoy yourself, use humour! Sometimes you really like someone but you say nothing because you fear that if you tell him, you would be rejected…be confident and try this spell! Good luck!

You will need:

A mirror, most any kind.
2 candles of any colour; pink is a good choice, as it brings friendship and romance
yourself!

In a comfortable place put a candle on each side of the mirror. Light the candles ... turn down, or off, any artificial light. Now, sit down in front of the mirror, gaze at your reflection. Relax. Notice all your good qualities and focus on them. Then say aloud how wonderful you are! Smile at yourself! Tell yourself how wonderful you are ... state all the positive aspects of your personality, (your humour, your willingness to help others, etc)name all the beautiful traits, that make you special…and then say these words:

I am beautiful on the outside
I am wonderful within
I am special unto myself,
So let the love come in!
Negative thoughts, they vanish
I now toss them out
Negative feelings, be banished,
To let my love shine out!

Repeat this at least 5 times. And do it at least once a day -- you may reuse the candles, but do not blow them out! (It is an insult, to the air and fire elements). Use a snuffer or wet your fingers, and pinch them out. As you get more used to doing this spell, you may repeat these words, or any words that you chose (spells are great, when made personal ... maybe, in time, and with practice, you will want to change them!) I like to do this spell before I go out anywhere! Much like putting on makeup in the morning! Good luck!

The Beauty of Tea!(from Winx official)

Hi! There's nothing like stopping for a cup of tea, and indeed, teatime is often a favourite part of the day! But what is the relationship between tea and beauty? Lets’ have a look at some tea types and properties!

Green Tea: Green tea contains vitamins, particularly a large amount of vitamin C, minerals (fluoride, in particular), and amino acids. Although vitamin C is very sensitive to heat, a large amount remains in a hot cup of tea. It is helpful in weight loss and in the fight against free radicals: it makes skin beautiful! The caffeine content of green tea is also less than that of black tea and it is absorbed at a slower rate by the body.

White Tea: White tea contains young leaves and it is produced in lesser quantities. Beyond antioxidants, white tea contains small amounts of fluoride and other nutrients which keeps the teeth strong and healthy. It also kills the bacteria which causes plaque, tooth decay, and bad breath, scoop them up and neutralize them.

Black Tea: Its strong antioxidants along with vitamins E and C fight the free radicals that can cause premature aging. Recent research indicates that Black tea is even healthier than Green one!

Here are some tea treatments for your spa experience… at home!
Highlighting Hair Rinse: Simply brew two cups of strong tea and use to rinse damp shampooed hair.
Quick Fix for Puffy Eyes and/or Dark Circles: make two cups of tea as usual, using two teabags. Place the used bags in the fridge. When needed, simply lie down and place one teabag over each eye. Allow to remain for 10 to 20 minutes.
Simplest Astringent Ever: just splash your face with warm or cool black tea and don't rinse, but pay attention to allergic reaction! It works well on pimples…
Sweet Feet: the tannins in tea help to fight odour-causing bacteria. Simply soak feet in strong tea for several minutes, then pat dry.
Tanned with tea: get a temporary tea tan by soaking in unflavoured black tea leaves for about 20 minutes. So, now give your taste buds a treat by sipping a cup (or two!) of tea and…don’t forget to re-use your tea-bags for your beauty care!

Let's build your wardrobe!(from winx official)

It's easy to find trendy stuff: fashion mags and stores are loaded with cool clothing you're dying to own. But if you want to build a basic wardrobe (and by that I mean Tshirts, jeans, sweaters that won't be over in a few months), things get trickier.
So I've come up with some easy tips for making sure there's something to wear in your closet:
Core pieces
You must have the simple basics for your wardrobe! And here you are few universal items you can't do without:
Two pair of jeans that fit great (A medium wash is the most classic. Avoid super dark rinses or light bleached tints - too trendy for a basic pair).
Khaki shorts. Not too short or long.
A pair of semi-slim-fit twill trousers.
Three solid-color Tshirts. Choose a basic, short-sleeve style in go-with colors like gray, black and white.
A button-down oxford
A well-fitted denim jacket
Nice pair of boots
A great pair of sandals - thongs, slides, wedges
Several versatile belts

Some tips to look cool:
Remember just this: only wear what works.
And here's how to assess what works for you:
Think about the places you go and what type of clothing is appropriate for your life.
Take personal activities and interests into consideration when trying to figure out what you really need.
Decide what comfort level you need. If soft fabrics and jeans with stretch have you spoiled, you'll want to stick with those.
Assess your figure. Take someone you trust shopping with you and ask her which styles really work on your body.
Find an inspirational source, style-wise: a certain fashion icon, a designer, or a little catalog, something that gives you ideas for new ensembles, styles, and creations.
Here's a little secret: try shopping at stores that aren't limited to teens. There are so many great places with nice basics and fresh buys that you wouldn't expect finding. Never limit yourself to shopping only at "teen" stores.

The rules
Trends are great in moderation. The goal is to pick one or two trends each season that you know you won't get sick of fast. (Insider tip: You're less likely to get tired of solids than prints)
If you decide to invest in a high-quality trend, don't ditch it the second it goes out.Hold onto it for a bit - it will definitely come back in style.
Learn to live with knock-offs (the stuff you buy in chain and discount stores).
Buy what you love.Never buy something just because it's trendy, on sale, or because a friend likes it. Really.
Great style is a learned art. Don't worry if you don't have it down pat yet. You'll find your fashion groove over the next few years.
Have fun. What good is fashion if can't lift your mood? Great colors, perfect fit and touchable fabrics can be real boosts.
